First comment trying to ask a usefule question

Will the cosmoneer have a rudementary ground segment to play with?.
Something similar to SCOS2000 and/or is CCSDS compliant.

SCOS-2000 (found here: SCOS-2000 (http://www.esa.int/Our_Activities/Operations/gse/SCOS-2000)), appears to be a viable option for the ground segment of the Cosmoneer control system.  However, licensing may be an issue since the Cosmoneer is open-source globally, while the ESA has some rather specific restrictions and fees for licensing their applications.

Since the Cosmoneer is open-source, the COSMOS command and control system from Ball Aerospace is a viable option under consideration as the ground segment interface.  Here are a couple of articles that mentions its use and legacy:
